Pierre Martin Neuhaus, owner of the Domaine du Coquerel, travelled through India for 6 months in order to gain new experiences. Afterwards he worked in France as well as in the USA where he got the opportunity to taste numerous spirits and fell in love with gin. The idea to create a gin that is fresh, fruity and smooth, like the homemade Calvados, was born. Through the use of 15 botanicals, some of which originate from India, a perfect balance of spice, sweetness and softness is guaranteed. Small copper pot stills, in which otherwise the Calvados is distilled, are also used for the production of Gin.
